EmploymentCrossing.com is a great site for any job seeker as it aggregates jobs directly from employer web sites, recruiter web sites, job boards, newspaper classifieds, etc. It has jobs of 120+ industries and job functions and 50+ locations specific jobs. I would definitely recommend it to all job seekers and professionals.
Such a useful job portal for job seekers and professionals!!
Best part of this site is you can access 170+ industries and locations specific jobs at single platform....
I seriously hope that someone from DOL really investigates some of the submissions here, including Hound.com and it's sister sites Employment Crossing, HR Crossing, Law Crossing and all the other scam sites owned by Harrison Barnes. This site charges JOB SEEKERS $30 a month to view jobs that don't exist! All the jobs they have on their site are scraped from other sites and most are already expired. The LIE they sell to job seekers is just shameful. Once job seekers figure it out and try to cancel the service, they can't seem to do so and keep getting charged. I'd suggest a google search about "hound.com scam" before you get hounded by them!
Horrible Site. Just like Robin says nothing but a scam. Thankfully there is some serious competition in this category. However Mr. Barnes will probably continue to buy votes, just as he is willing to pay someone to post jobs in violation of our TOS. SCAM!!!!
It is very important for job seekers to realize that they don't need to pay for job listings. There are plenty of sites that provide job listings absolutely free to job seekers and there is no need for job seekers to pay anything to access job listings.
A huge database of job and career related site. recommended for all job seeker of the world. thanks
As a paying suscriber, I do not believe that accusations made against the founder or website of www.employmentcrossing.com affect the value of this website to the user. I have used only this website for job applications in my very specific job niche.
The advantages of www.employmentcrossing.com are significant. The largest and most prestigious businesses in the country list on this website. Job search is well organized, efficient, and the search engine is powerful.
Jobs can be readily accessed all over the country such as by zip code, a great tool for job searchers interested in relocating.
Jobs for 120 job types can be accessed such as sales, legal, health care, accounting, customer service, blue collar, entry level, retail, education and others.
Advanced searches produce relevant results. Critical information about a particular job may be provided that may not be found on a free job search engine.
Jobs are listed in tabs by date first listed (tab 1 has the oldest listings). Listings are verified to source for continued availability and the date last verified is shown. Listing do not age off, as listings may be standing orders.
Nationally, over 1.5 million jobs were listed on www.employmentcrossing.com with over 715,000 jobs added the week of December 14, 2009.
This site could be rich source of data for analysts of job creation such as new jobs daily by location, job type, and other criteria.
Sources of jobs include employer (E) and recruiter (R) firm types from both direct company sites and job boards. Contract (C) work and part-time (P) are included as well as jobs at U.S. foreign subsidiaries.
Click on the listing to drill down to the job description. At the end of the job description there is generally a link to apply for the job on-line or other instructions on how to apply.
This site is designed to serve the interests of the job seeker. The website states that it does not accept money from employers or advertisers.
Help is available by telephone and assistance received has been professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and timely. Website support is at 1-626-243-1814.

Why do we have job seeker paid sites on this website. Unless this tool is free to all seeker it should be removed. Better montoring should be in place.
This DOL website appears to be a public-private partnership, based on my scan of the 600+ ideas posted. As a job seeker, I found a wealth of information that will help me -- ideas both free and for payment for websites, videos, books, and services.
www.employmentcrossing.com is not the only for payment service offered on this website.
This website is a credit to the open, creative, and fast-moving Administration which may forever change the way government operates, regardless of political persuasion.
Hopefully this website will remain available for both public and private postings.
People who land could comment on those ideas that helped them find work.
People may be willing to contribute to help maintain the site.
