Tools for America's Job Seekers Challenge

The Labor Market Information (LMI) portal in the Virginia Workforce Connection website offers job seekers an easy-to-use web-based interface for exploring career information. Occupational profiles are available for thousands of jobs, and they pull together a wealth of information into one convenient place. Some of the things that each profile includes are the currently available jobs in our job bank, training programs, wage information, supply and demand statistics, future employment outlook, job duties & description, career videos, skills required, etc. There is even an option for viewing related occupations, which is an excellent way for job seekers to explore other career opportunities that they may be qualified for based on their current skill-set.
